Cooling down
Taken in the grounds of the Morisset Mental Hospital on a photoshoot with the Connollys on an extremely hot arvo. As you can see this girls forearms are wet, the reason being,
kangaroos have a network of fine veins just beneath the surface of the skin on their forearms. They lick this area, and the saliva evaporates, cooling down the blood vessels.
Lens aperture f/5.3, shutter speed 1/200sec, focal length 95mm, ISO 200.
