Ürgüp, Cappadocia :Turkey
1/125s @ f/22, ISO 200, 24-120mm lens @ 120mm.(T&P)
Ürgüp is the chief town right in the midst of the fairy chimneys of Central Anatolia’s Cappadocia region. The scenery is breathtaking. A serrated white cliff is dotted with man-made holes. Some of the fragile walls have crumbled away, revealing the interiors of houses. These caves, as well as some giant cones and chimneys are still inhabited by troglodytes, who simply remove any fallen walls and dig deeper into the rock.
