Bullseye 2
Lying on the ground, looking through the cycle stand, captured the National Carillion across Lake Burley Griffin in Canberra. The 50 meter tall National Carillon was a gift from the British government to the people of Australia to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the National Capital. Located on Aspen Island in Lake Burley Griffin, the sounds of the bells carry from the water to the surrounding city. Carillons must have at least 23 bells to be considered as such, and the National Carillon has 55 (increased from 53 during recent refurbishments). Each bell weighs between seven kilograms and six tonnes.
