Auto Union
Auto Union was the result of the amalgamation of four companies; Wanderer, DKW, Audi and Horch; hence the four rings, one for each company, of the badge. It was established in 1936 in Chemnitz, Saxony, during the Great Depression.
In 1969 Auto Union became Audi NSU as it merged with NSU and finally became Audi in 1985.
This is the Auto Union 1000 which was manufactured by Auto Union AG between 1958 and 1963.
