Black and White Films in 110 Format

Hi everyone. I am interested in using my 110 camera to take photos and would like to know whether there any black and white films in that format, and from which manufacturers, and if possible which one is the best. Thank you all.

Processing is expensive. 110 negatives are very small and the quality is not that good. I doubt anyone makes black and white film for them anyway, but go out and buy yourself a cheap used 35 mm camera and save yourself some headaches.

I have been using 110 film with experimental purposes for a while. Most labs will be able to produce a black and white print from a 110 colour negative. Developing black and white film is always more expensive than colour development. You can either shoot in 110 colour film and have it developed and printed to black and white, digitalize the resulting colour print and change it to black and white digitally.

God bless you Wayne and Pablo P. I think I would rather buy a 35mm camera. I have lots of b/w film options in this.
Cheers :)

Any of the slip-in fully enclosed films (110, 126 and a few developed by Agfa in the 70s) have the same problem. There is no pressure plate to hold the film flat. This, added to the extreamly small size of 110 makes an image that is not just unsatisfactory, but really hard to look at when magnified over 4x5 (no bargain there either).
The suggestion to go with a used 35mm will give you the best results and the most options. If you really need a small, easily carried camera, Canon has some 35mm that should do the job.

If you do find 110 b&w, any lab that would process it will just lick their chops when its time to pay the bill.
To give you some idea of just what your up against, try and find a developing tank, or even a reel for this size film.
