Photos of the Day Are the photos of the day selected from each days photos? I understand that editors picks are 3 to 4 weeks behind so are the current photos of the day pictures that we submitted several weeks ago? I am not sure how the entire process works regarding submitting photos for both the contest and POTD!

The POTDs have mostly been picked from the EP pool. However, the latest re-organization of giving out badges at BP may have changed this too. If your photo gets an EP badge, it becomes in the running for a potential POTD badge. At least this is what I know, but who knows, with the recent re-organization, this may also have been changed.

Paul, I don't think BP has changed their POTD process. They're still selected from EPs. Which means POTDs will come from Oct 1st thru 3rd, or from September (or earlier).

Looks like today's POTD was uploaded on 10/3. Yesterday's was uploaded on 10/1.
