April 2013 Countdown Thread


Happy Mid-May everyone! I know we've all been wondering what's going on with EPs (or lack of them) and I'm just hoping it's that they are busy looking through everything from April. So, here's our opportunity to pick our hopefuls. I'm on a diet, so I guess the alcohol and chocolate aren't really what I should be eating - but, boy do they sound delicious! If everyone could please have a drink and eat some chocolate for me, I would greatly appreciate it! Be sure to tell me what you had so I can properly adjust my envy.

I can't wait to see your hopefuls/favorites! Remember, the hints below ONLY work if you have NOT entered yet on the day you share on this thread.

Helpful hints for attaching photos into Forum Threads:
1) Sign into BP completely (name + password.)
2) If you have NOT YET entered the Contest today, you can use the "Photo ID" to pull an existing image from your Member Center into your reply to this thread (avoiding a duplicate image upload.) Get the Photo ID# from your Member Center, come to back this thread, click Respond, enter the text of your reply, then choose "1" from the images-to-attach drop-down. Click Submit; at the next screen populate the "Photo ID" box at the right. Skip the other fields on that screen.
3) If you HAVE ALREADY entered the Contest today before replying to this thread, you can't use the Photo ID method today. You can either wait until tomorrow to reply here (before your new Contest entry!) or, upload a new copy of the particular image (from your PC) into this thread. This produces a duplicate image in your Member Center; however, you don't have to make that duplicate visible in your Gallery.
4) If you're uploading a duplicate, maybe title it "For Forum" so it stands out in your Member Center, for easier housecleaning later... This can help direct viewers to find the original image in your gallery, when they want to leave a comment. Likewise, if you want to add a comment to a photo seen here, try to tell if it is a duplicate upload. As a courtesy, try to find the original image in the member's gallery and leave your comment there instead of on the duplicate---that way, if the duplicate is deleted later, the comment history isn't lost.

Well, not a lot of EP's for me to chose from for April. This one already has a bit of gold, hopefully it will see some more.

Chris Budny's Gallery 		  Hmmm... tough one this time - My April included 10 days of vacation where I didn't enter anything, then only about 10 new entries and 8 resubs, while I was watching/pondering the change in EP pattern.
I've posted for today, so I'll try to remember to select a favorite from my "lite" April pool of entries, tomorrow!

Okay, so, here's my favorite for the month. And, if anyone wants to peek, my April entries start with At the Heart and go through Canna (I bookended the entries with some flowers to make it easier). Fingers crossed for us all!

Michelle L. Frick 		  Jeff, I do like "Teapot Lake" very much. But, I really love "Trial Lake" and am picking that as my favorite from you this month.

Chris, as usual, your images are all beautiful. I'm really drawn to "Pattern of Decay" and even more intrigued once I read that you took that with your iphone! LOVE IT! Good luck!

Thanks Shell for hosting the thread. My favorite is from my Australia's visit in March /April this year.

For anyone interested to peek at my April entries, they start from "Melbourne Gold" on page 2 and terminate with "Out of Place" on page 3.
