CANON 7D Mark II What is the news on upgrades for the 5D mark II and 7D MarkII. I have heard they are coming out with either one in the summer.

At present there is nothing but rumor about these two cameras. Pure conjecture by people that follow these things is: 5D Mark III - this Fall. 7D Mark II- either Spring or at Photokina 2012 (in Sept) However the recent troubles in Japan could set these back six months to a year. Also they may replace these cameras with other models. Outside of Canon no one knows for sure. Everything else is wishful thinking and/or rumor.

Christopher - I can't afford the 24-105 f4 now. The way Canon has increased prices for vII lenses the asking price would be close to $2000 and possibly more.
