This is call Il Palazzaccio (The Bad Palace). Bad, because was the Court House of Rome until late 60s. After been judged in here, criminals where sent to jail not far from this palace (Regina Coeli Prison). It was buildup around 1880 after Italy was unify. Today is the Supreme Court (the last resource you have before going to jail!!) :-))) You captured this beauty from the back at Cavour Square, and I am assuming that you just come out/in from Castle Saint Angelo tour!! Great angle of view, fantastic clouds and lighting (early afternoon shot), beautiful tones and architectural details, makes this image a perfect postcard of Rome!! Congratulations Mary on this fantastic Finalist!!! :-)))

Max, thanks for your compliments on this shot. Actually my husband and I had 2 days prior to our tour starting and we just went all over Rome and I thought that this building was interesting. Once you mentioned the "Cavour Square" I remembered that it was near the buses, am I correct? :)))

Thanks Mary!! Yes, many bus line converge in this Square and technically this is one of the bus line nodes that you can be connected all around Rome!! :-)))
