Thanks everyone! Shelly, no tripod - I generally use my 100mm lens hand held when I shoot these little guys -- we have so many of them - and they are getting used to me being in amongst them :o)

I can't tell if the wings are a blur because of DOF or motion...regardless, they convey motion and it's a super shot, Judy!

Thanks everyone!!! Hey Ken - the wings are a blur because of DOF AND motion - I shot this with an f2.8 setting -- so his little face was all I expected to have in focus - he was banking trying to make a major turn into the feeders -- quite the little acrobat!

Really beautiful shot of these guys,
I never have the time/patience to get mine good. They sit in the tree and ambush each other rather than share the food!
So glad you shared, she is a doll!(unless their is a ruby throat I don't see it is a female):)
