Thank you all!! Jean, this was taken at the Buffalo Zoo. I was viewing the indoor exhibits and happened to look out a window overlooking the outdoor lion exhibit. The zoo's 3 young African Lions were romping around that area and one of the females saw me through the window and stopped to stare for a short time. I was probably about 15 feet away.

Terry, thanks for the info. I am very impressed that this was shot through a window. Did you have any special filter on your lens? (Our zoo has a few windows, but they are in terrible shape, covered with fingerprints, etc., not really workable for taking pix)

Jean, I'm sorry I didn't see your last post. I didn't use any special type of filter and tried to pick a portion of the glass that looked free of dirt and fingerprints. Our zoo's windows are a mess too!
