Very nice detail, color and lighting here, Mitch. My captures of this type of flower always look like blobs and never show off the delicate individual flowers like yours does.

Hi, Shelly, Jeana, Tammy, Jo Ann, Phil, Pat, and Nikki. There really are so many types of these, and I'm not kidding about their anti-deer properties being a real plus for me. The light was late in the day, oh, maybe 5:30 or 6:00 I guess. I fooled with the background. It wasn't as clean as this by a long shot to start with. Nikki, this was a really big type of allium bloom, so that helped with the definition of individual petals.
