This was a first attempt. By this time I had reset the image quality back to RAW. It was yesterday’s post that I had to go back and reshoot. I made a mistake and left the camera set on low quality JPG.

This is a winning capture, Les. The light and composition are perfect and every element is "worth" having in the image: the lake, the sloping hillside on the right in the foreground, the barn with the light hitting the roof just right nestled in the stand of trees, the glimpse of the lake in the distant valley, the mountain peak breaking through the clouds, and of course that dramatic sky. What a shot!

Wow, Les! I just love this one. The elements are placed perfectly and the lighting especially captured strategically n both the barn and in the clouds adds drama to the entire scene. A well captured moment of these wonderful stormy clouds.

Les, considering how well you captured this image you could almost call this an "action" shot... the impression of the clouds rolling across the sky is undeniable! Your POV helps give us a taste of just how quickly that stormy sky could bear down upon the barn. So fantastic...!
