Great action shot! I love the light this was taken in, how your subject seems to be riding into the shot, and your focus is nice and clear! Well done!

Wow!! That is sooo sharp, in response to your lens questions go with this one!!! You obviously hit the sweet spot with this lens. Any zoom lens has that sweet range where it is perfect and you obviously hit it with this shot. Luck sometimes plays a role, but obviously you anticipated where he was coming into your frame and took the shot just at the right moment. Very well done!! I'd enter into one of the contests if I were you! :-)

Hi Ulysses. You know I have a wealthy friend who collects small scale IRON statues that are about 2 to 3 feet wide. When I saw this shot this was the first think I thought of for some reason. That this would be beautiful done in IRON. Exactly as we see it here. The calm waters, the totally active wave, the man with the buffed body looking back at his own wave just doing his thing. A surfer on his ZONE.

My specialty seems to be seeing and feeling the emotion of a shot and truly my friend this one "speaks" for itself. It was so well executed. In my book a 10 out of 10. -Laura Swan ~DRU~ club.

Hi, Laura! Thanks for the the very nice compliments. Its so nice of you to have appreciated it the way you did. Im so honored. You know how I felt after reading your comments? Well, remember the way David A. reacted when Simon said that the final night was a "knockout" in favor of him. I was like, "Gosh... tahnk you so much". :)
