i would like to thank all of you for the kind words,and iam glad you all enjoyed 1st. time out. I found this little guy last summer sitting on road post,with his parents flying around him , and calling come on, come on you can do it. I was just lucky enough to be there. best to you all. ron

Glad I came in after the cute "back story" on this baby, Ron. His expression seems a mixture of defiance and uncertainty, and you caught it "head on." The color and clarity of this photo is wonderful.

Focus is sharp, subject is close, lighting is soft but bright, the bird looks to be eyeing the viewer and your crop gives insight into the scene.
Very well done!
