(Honorable Mention May 2008 for cash contest)

I just met her and her family this April. They are from Italy and are indeed nice persons. I spend the whole afternoon with them together with a colleague of mine. It is always an inspiration encountering a family that have in each one of them an over whelming love with each other. I ask if I can take their picture and they graciously allowed me. On this picture, the father of the model help me to create this portrait. He was the one holding the reflector while he was cheering for his dauther and of course the daughter can't stop laughing. I used a canon USM IS f2.8 with an ISO of 100 1/320 f2.8

Thanks Russell for the input. Raquel the eyes were not dodge. It is natural light comming from the reflector. thank you Russell and Raquel for your comments.

Another great portrait. The lighting on the face is wonderful and I like her warm toned skin against the cooler background colors. The only critique I can offer is that the sky to the right of her face is a tad bit bright.

Thank you very much Nilesh and William. I'll try to work the bright alittle bit after the month contest had finished.

Thank you Peter...... Yup the lens is really good. The image stabilizer is really effective. My investment on it is really worth it.
