One Heck Of A Long Exposure !!! This was taken at Phieffer Beach along the Big Sur coastline that I recently vacationed at. I was not met with the best of weather conditions so this is what I choose to do to make something out of nothing. Can not wait to go back when there is sun !!!

Who needs sun! This is a magnificent shot Kevin. Fantastic mood you have captured and I love the overall composition. I would be very proud of this, like I said, this shot proves that you do not need one of the two "golden hours" to get a great shot.
I have been along the Washington Coast this summer for the same kind of weather, so I understand your sentiment. This is a wonderful alternative, however, to blue skies...very nice!

Sweet shot! I actually prefer to shoot during bad/stormy weather. Did you use a ND filter?
