Thanks for the nice comments...Robert S. I took this in a back water area of Florida's Nature Coast. The water is protected on all sides and it was a very still day. The sun was just right to get a deep blue reflection from the sky as well as the reflection of the bird. The Egrets were feeding so I waited until most of the ripples dissipated each time they stabbed at the water.

Steven, that kind of setting and waiting for the right moment really paid off. The pride of taking a great photo like this is knowing what you had to put into it, and only the photographer really knows that (unless shared like this). Your effort really paid off.
