Why is it that every time I see a picture on here and think, "Now, THAT'S fantastic," I look down and see your name? This is awesome, Piper. And I don't mean that in an '80's teenager sort of way.

Thanks, D. I only snapped off a couple of shots of this before I started losing my balance! Really disorienting to look up through your lenses. Of course, when I asked my husband if he got dizzy while looking up, he said no. What a butthead.

This perspective really draws you into the shot. Love it. Now I have a hunch of my own... :)

Thanks, Kath. I wish there had been a flag or something to see at the top. You get drawn in all right, but then what??????? :O

Okay, I see what you mean. How about a sailor at the top in a red and white striped shirt? :) Or, a non-dizzy husband? :) I still like it just as is. :)

How 'bout Russell Crowe in the crow's nest? Yea baby! He'll be in his own ship shortly--playing Cap't. Jack Aubrey of the Patrick O'Brian stories. Hey, a gal's gotta have a fantasy life...

This caught my eyes right away. Aih, how come I didn't notice that at the Maritime Museum before?! Got to go back! Well, good shot and I like it whether Crowe is in or not. =)

See, Piper, you didn't need the flag or Russell, it's great just as it is. My hunch was right! Love it when that happens. :) Congrats to you!
