Su, I took this image around 9am, somewhat overcast day in the P mode. Then took the image into Photoshop, duplicated the layer several times, cleaned up houses and stuff in background, did a gaussian blur on one layer, multiplied on another layer and did a screen setting on another layer. Cropped off the bottom half which had the shadow of the tree and voila!

Thanks Lori! I ALWAYS duplicate the layer before doing anything in Photoshop. Then I can play with different effects and not affect the original image. : )
