I've got the same camera and I can't figure out how to do that. It's making me crazy...Could you help?

  Jess -

This was part of an assignment for a class...not sure that I'm the best person to help you with this. However, to get the flowing effect you need a slow shutter speed...I used the shutter priority on the camera and had it set at 1/20. With such a slow shutter speed, especially if it's a sunny day, you'll probably need a low ISO to counteract the long exposure.
I do love the IS in this camera which enabled me to take this without a tripod. Good luck!
