Yes, I know of the real walking fish...They're pretty cool. None of them around my parts though. Thank you very much Rhonda! I'm glad you got a laugh out of it. Thank you very much Mike! This is a type of sign that is found along culverts which affect streams which are used by migrating salmon. You can read about it at wdfw.wa.gov/hab/engineer/habeng.htm Thank you very much Lisa! Marta...you are a riot!!! Great edit! When the stream flood the fish will cross the roads. They have some of the same signs down near Shelton where the rivers always flood and you can see salmon swimming across the road! LOVE THIS!!!
