My Dad
I love this photo of my dad. He is very rarely photogenic. The black and white works well here and I believe there are good textures that come out. By exposing the shot correctly, it allowed all the clutter in the background to disappear bringing the focus where it should be. The only thing I would maybe change about this shot is showing more of the tractor so you know that's what my did is sitting behind trying to fix.

A nice image Julie, you have caught you father in what seems a very natural state. The tones of the B&W are really nice and the photo has a lot of character, good job.

I like the sidelighting - it really helps show the texture of the "lifelines" in his face. Nice job.

Great portrait! I like that you only see just the tractor tire, you can tell that is what it is and it brings the focus to your dad. Great shot!

I agree with the others, there is enough there to know what he is doing and your eye is concentrated on your dad and his character. Nice lighting. Good job!
