Great in-motion photograph James. Being on the dark side of this bird you stood the risk of loosing all detail on his face BUT having the reflected light off the water gave you just what you needed for a perfect exposure. CONGRATULATIONS on your Finalist award your photograph is certainly deserving of it. Haven't been to Alaska since 1959 when the Air Force issued my discharge, but not before spending 3 winters.
