Thanks, Mary. I'm pleased you like this image. I was in Yorkshire last weekend, and could have spent ages just in this corner. The blue spruce was what originally caught my eye.

That spruce is certainly the centerpiece ~ but the extension of the blue in the sky, plus those stormy-looking clouds, gives your photo a real three-D effect, and great mood. Hope this finds its way to the finals next month, Donna.

Really well accomplished Donna.... I agree, it has a very art feel to the image. I also thing it makes a nice Halloween picture that gets away from the traditional pumpkins and other common theme items that we typically see! Great job.... Jeff

Nice photo Donna. The brilliance of the colors make it really jump out. What time of day. Did you do any tweaking in a "photoshop" program? I though it looked like a hand colored print of a b&w, and very nice at that.
