Okay! I can't stand spiders, but this is amazing! Impressive...again! I have to know - how close were you exactly to your delightful subject?

Probably 9 to 12 inches. He kept moving around the pole so I had some trouble getting him. He had just dropped his dinner (the small beetle in a picture I posted a couple of days ago) because I was upsetting him. He's only a jumping spider - harmless to humans and only about the size of a lady bug.

Great capture. He really looks annoyed but he is really cute. Detail is great.

Really cool close-up, almost animated. Really like it even though when spiders come in my house I get the heeby jeebies!

Thank you. Fortunately, they're really small and don't eat much.

Spiders don't bother me but they can be gross looking close up. This guy looks like a stuffed animal. I never think of a spider as being cute.
