Tamara, I don't know what lens you used but this distance shot is superb! This everyday bird is very thoughtfully composed against the natural sky! I’m in Pakistan till about mid-March and more interested in the everyday life of ordinary people, the majority here! I struggle to comment on the work of BP friends because of very slow internet! Sometimes I connect through mobile phone, as now, which is a bit faster but quite expensive!

Thank you, MH. This image was actually captured with a Panasonic Lumix FZ30. This is a non SLR with an unusually powerful zoom lens (35-420). I mostly shoot with a Canon 20D, but thought this would be a fun on-the-go camera. I must mention that your gallery is exceptional, and I have commented on a few photos, but wish I could comment on all! Wide range of subject matter, and all reflect your creative, artistic, and precise eye! I really appreciate your feedback, especially given the struggle of communicating while you are traveling!
