Hi Gary, I don´t know why but when I am making my comment your name appears simply as Gary Minish and I thought : well it isn´t Gary H. Minish but what a coincidence having almost the same name and so beautiful photos!??
Then got back to new entries and saw your complete name, that made me laugh. LOL
But, this photo is so high detailed that I have to ask you if you retouched it or is just 707 just gorgeous!?

Susana; Thank you very much! Other than a little sharpening after shrinking it to entry size, nothing has been changed on this photo. The original photo loses a lot of sharpness when shrinking it to 640x480. I always apply just enough to bring it back as close as possible to the clarity of the original. You should see this at 1600x1200 on my Sony Flat screen monitor!

Evy; Thank you also! I've had two photo sessions with Deva so far. One last night in rather poor light and this afternoon in very good light. This one was taken today.

birdie; Actually Deva "set" the scenes. It was my job to be in the right position for lighting and composition when she did. I got more exercise than she did, racing all over the mountain side trying to be in the right position for a good shot whenever she stopped moving :-) Thank you for commenting!

Thank you very much, Elizabeth! The dog wasn't an addition though. She was sitting right there when I took the photo. I took about 200 photos of her that day on the pass. Most every one is different. It's a fantastic place to shoot dog portraits :-)

Thanks, Lee! Its all uphill to this locations so by the time she got to here she was ready for a break. So was I, but I had to grab the photo first. I don't know how you stumbled on this one, it was buried pretty far down in my gallery!
