Nice photo. However, it would have ben more dramatic if you had used a small kicker light or fill card in front of subject to throw light into eye area, thus eliminating "racoon" effect.

Yes, absolutely dead on, it's the only flaw from what I envisioned for it. Realized that it's lacking catchlights as soon as I saw the proof. Don't have a kicker light . . . but _could_ have used the reverse side of my "gray card" which is pure white which could have reduced the shadow and gotten catchlights! Hindsight is 20/20 but it shouldn't happen again. Thanks. -- John
