Gorgeous capture, colors, concept, subject. From what i've read, the bird's position would be better in the right 3rd or half of the image - ie. walking into the frame, not walking out.

I really love this photo. The color is great, the reflections are too, and I love the small ripples where the birds have been wading through the water. I really would like to see this with the birds to the right because that is where I expect them to be and where my eyes want to go, and I think it would be nice to see them walking in vs out. However, if you did it that way, you would lose some of the water ripples which I think greatly adds to the photo. Would you lose enough to greatly change the impact of the photo (as the ripple effect does become less pronounced towards the end)? I don't know; I think you would have needed to try it both ways to compare the two. That said, I still like this photo alot! :)

When I first saw the thumbnail, my first thought was the bird's should be on the right walking in rather than on the left walking out. That is the "rule," isn't it?? :) However, once I enlarged it and saw the ripples, I changed my mind. I think the image would lose a lot if you cropped out the ripples. It might be interesting to see a vertical format with some (but not all) of the ripples cropped and a little more space left in front of the birds. Very nice shot though. The color is great!

Great isolation of your subjects, Zenon, that impresses with its simplicity, yet moody undertow. It looks like they're skating across the smooth mirrored surface, their beauty of form extending beyond themselves, artistically, through their flowing lines of reflective design that's impacting. Lovely silouhetting, great subtle tones, as well as intrigue with you choice of framing.
