This is a self-portrait taken in color, turned black and white, then turned a dark sepia. Softened and adjusted contrast. Window light, manual mode, 85mm, f5.

This is so cool!!!! I've never seen a brown so close to black and yet so brown. This pose is fantastic. Your eyes are spectacular. Softened just enough to make it warm. What a great title. I love this!! GREAT WORK!

Wow thanks! I was hoping for that effect... thanks for the comment about the eyes, even though they're squinty in the sunlight and have bags under them at night.. lol. I really appreciate you taking the time to view - keep snapping!

I love this shot. Shows good imagination. The window light is just perfect and I really like the dark sepia tone. The title fits perfectly. Thanks for sharing.....

Outstanding!! Love your work! Did you try playing around with a tighter crop? A little off the top and the left? Anyway, I love it!

  Stacy,
I noticed this photo several times before but I didn't comment.
This is another one of "the essence of that mystique", if I may call it that, in your self portraits that is so good!!
It has allure, mystery, beauty, partly concealed compositon and of course those eyes that really make it another really classy shot of you.

Hey just my opinion, but if you capture "that essence", you really have some very spectacular shots.
Have a great day/week and keep up the neat work!

Jim
