Thanks very much, Janine & Joyce. With a 5 year old boy, and 3 month old pup, it took many shots (as you can imagine!) to catch one where they were both sitting relatively still!

Terrific portrait of both the beautiful German Shorthair pointer pup and the young boy. Good clarity and lighting. The pup looks very much like my past pointers except for the very white marking on its head. That's a terrific dog as long as enough room and exercise is given. They are quiet. Need only plenty of fresh water to keep going (and food, of course). I really enjoyed owning German Shorthairs. My beloved Becca passed in 2006 of bone cancer, likely due to Normally Occurring Radioactive Material in production waters from the drilling of oil and gas industry. My husband brought some free soil into the backyard to fill holes left from H. Lili and Becca tasted it. She was dead 3 months later.
