Hi, Betsy...I'm delighted you noticed my Cape May shot, but the best part of your comment was that it led me to your gallery and to your creative images...They are so lovely! Judy M.

Very, very nice photo. Did you add effect to the light shinning from the lighthouse or is that a natural capture?

If you're interested you can see some of my Cape May photos at http://www.flickr.com/photos/shorty_two3/sets/72157594382985241/

Thanks for your comment last summer, Jacqueline...I'm so sorry I missed it at the time. Joe, I didn't add anything to the light..the F22 setting gave it the star points, if that's what you are noticing. The smaller apertures give that effect...wide open gives you circles of light (at least I'm pretty sure that's how it works!). I might have lassoed the light and bumped the contrast and sharpened separately to emphasize the star effect...Can't remember, actually. I really enjoyed seeing your shots. Especially your tremendously colorful skies. Like your lighthouse with tree in front especially. Makes me want to get some more of my Cape May shots up...thanks! :-)
