Model is Geetha. Hair by Sandy. Since the original had some noise (I think this was shot at 800 ISO), I used NeatImage to smoothen it a bit. Consequently, it smoothened out her skin as well.

The overall feel of the shot it wonderful. Skin tones are right on the money!!! Personally, though, I would have loved to see a close up of all that wonderful, thick hair, against the smooth skin. I think it would work well in B&W also.

Great job Nacy!!!

Thank you, Glenn, for your kind words and also for your suggestions! Funny you suggest that, this is actually maybe the only photo from the entire 6-hour shoot that isn't a closeup! The others were mostly studio-style shots, and I feel like those don't do well in the BP contest these days, so I haven't submitted any. Thanks again!

This is beautiful. I do wish we could see the rest of her lower back, but even without it, it is lovely!!!

Thanks Carolyn... that is a good idea. I guess at the time I was trying to avoid including... 'adult content'... haha. But I should have adjusted her clothes and shot further back. Maybe next time. :) Thank you!

You hit the exposure on the head, too hot would have blown the water and cement out, under exposed you would have lost detail in the hair. Prefect. I love the hair the best.

Nancy, just gorgeous! I like her skin as well, the colors all are very harmonious. Yes, anything else may have been "adult content" but this is beautiful. Some folks just have it. Excellent job! This would have been equally well as a profile shot, er, with uh, a blouse on, I guess.

I like this for all the colors! I love her creamy skin tones with the white linen, the darkness of her hair, and then the eye popping aqua colored water! I love the detail with the tiny pebble rock cement with the lighter colored cement trimming. To me, personally I love this! Bravo to you for capturing this!
