The statue of the girl looked so sad, surrounded by such beautiful flowers. The contrast of colors seemed to match the contrast of mood. Ft Worth, Botanical Gardens, Texas BP Photo Shoot.

LOVE this Richard....you "nailed" the composition to compliment the contrast between the flowers and the statue!!!

Thank you Dennis, Gail and Carla! I have to give some credit to Little g on this one; she really helped me fine tune my composition skills.

Richard, nice contrast of colors and mood. Great composition, kind of a sideways rule of thirds. Great shot brother.

Thank you very much Jeff, Dan, Tammy, Darryl, Shelly and Ken! It was very nice of you all to stop by and help me out with the positive feedback. :)
"Sideways rule of thirds", hmmm, might have to use that one again Dan.
And, yes, Ken I hope to learn even more photo skills from "the master" & other masters such as yourself...

Richard, this is excellent! The cold blue stone and sad look in opposition to the cheerful warm colored flowers creates tension and holds the viewer's interest. The compositional and DOF choices you made are equally well done. All attention is focused exactly where it needs to be. Great image!
