Pfeiffer Beach Area of Big Sur... Near "the eye"... gotta be there! The attached photo is a set up shot for an all day shoot I did at Pfeiffer Beach; it's the wrong angle but you can see the notch on the side of the hill looks like a perfect match.

I am thinking north of the Golden Gate by Sausalito . The clouds from the ocean come over the mountains that is between the ocean and the city of Sausalito.

Wow! So many fantastic guesses! And the correct answer is....Big Sur! Great guesses, everyone! And isn't it neat that they really were all over the world map ... but those of you who said Big Sur (California coast), you are correct! Thanks so much in taking part in this fun quiz. I enjoyed checking out all of the excellent guesses... so many beautiful coastal scenes!
