Poppies-Arizona, Infrared
Armed with only my IR converted D1x I came across a lonely group of poppies in the fire damaged desert

Howard, Love the poppies in IR! I'd like to try my hand at it as well, what is the filter you used?

Thanks, Sue. The image was shot near Bartlet lake, North of Scottsdale with my D1x that I had converted to shoot only IR. No external filters are required. In the conversion process the IR blocking filter is remove (internal) and is replaced with a special filter to block visual and let IR record. E-mail if you need more info. IR can be fun! Howard
