Thanks again everyone! Just returned from vacation and happy to see this one made the finals - with all the wonderful work people submit, I feel very fortunate when I get one in the finals.Many - I did this one on my own. I took the original image on my quick trip to the UK in May at the Wild Animal Park in the Cotswolds - we went across for my mum-in-law's 70th birthday. The original image was nice, but needed some pizazz, I thought. So, I simply applied the PS 7.0 distort, glass filter; frosted, with a distortion of 5 and smoothness of 3. I've included the original so you can see it.

Aha! Fantastic! I'll have to start trying some of those filters one of these days. It just always feels like one doesn't know what's going to happen with them :-)Thanks for the tip....
