Beautiful image, Lewis. Perfect composite. The warmth of the late day sun matches well with the colorful rainbow. This makes me what to drop everything and head on out to Provence. Welcome aboard!

Thanks for the comments, now for the truth. There really was a rainbow there but it was very faint. The warm glow was actually rather weak, so in the computer I created a warming filter and also created a new rainbow to place in the scene. Is it real or is it Memorex or in this case Photoshop?

Dottie,Thanks for the compliment! I like to think that with the digital darkroom, I can now go out and make images to use as a base and then create the image I want in the computer just as when I took black and white images and interpreted them in the wet darkroom.
