I absolutely love the expression of this wolf. It reminds me of a cartoon, not sure what it is called in english, but it's about a wolf and a group of roadrunners. It looks like he's saying" Uth-oh, they fooled me again". Prizeless! Congratulations on a deserved win! ;-)Trine

Yes - this one makes me laugh even now. I don't think you are referring to Wiley E. Coyote, Trine, but regardless, there is a lot of humor in this shot.

Kevin, excellent job using the wide-angle and getting down low. You must have been flat on your back. I agree with Guy about the lens flare - sometimes things that some would call technical imperfections actually add to the overall effectiveness of an image.

Thanks for sharing and making me laugh. Congrats on the win.

Thank you all for commenting. I was SOOOOO amazed when I got this slide back. (Velvia) I just had to submit it as soon as I got it scanned. I wasn't sure about the lens flare at first, but as Jim statedj something that would normally make a bad image really made this a really good image. Jim you were right on with the wild-angle and low down.(but that is expected from you...lol) Although I wasnt flat on my back because I had new clothes on.. lol.

Thank You all

Congratulations, Kevin! Somehow, the flare makes this almost "otherworldly". I also agree that it is funny.

Thank you Shirley! The flare adds so much to this picture. It makes you think about the picture. It is "otherworldly" as you stated. Thanks for the comment.

  Kevin,

I work at Wolf Mountain Sanctuary where these pics were taken. Please list Wolf Mountain Sanctuary in your comments under the pic. Please know that these shots should not be sold and if they are WMS needs to receive some compensation. We are a non-profit organization that receives no funding. We see our wolves on items everyday and we receive no compensation for them. Photographers are supposed to sign a release when they visit. Great shots by the way.

Thanks,
Danna
