Leanne!! Gorgeous!! Must ask, did you achieve this translucent glow via camera or with Photoshop??? I just love this shot! I have been attempting to "transparentize" (?) a certain image and so far, I am not satisfied with the results so I thought I'd ask.... this is four-star!

Thankyou Nadya - this is an in camera technique, used to record movement. I use a slow camera speed, held the camera still, and shot the dancers movements. I was lucky in that there were banks of windows in front and back of me, that provided the wonderful light.

You are right, Dragan - The spirit of the dance is the number one reason for taking the photo. This piece was a small portion of Swan lake, and I wanted to capture the feeling of flight and grace. Hopefully I have accomplish this.
