    Hi Jim,
This is really an awesome shot ... and a very appropriate title too! I think this makes a great "Where in the World?" image for the March issue of PhotoFlash. Thanks!
Kerry

P.S. to everyone: Have fun guessing the location of this beautiful scene!!

Beautiful picture! Think this is the area in Amsterdam near Kukenhouf (sp?) Gardens. There are fields and fields of these beautiful tulips and daffodils. Great shot. Wonderful website. Thanks.

Wonderful shot! Such color and form. My guess would be south-central California, as I've seen flower fields spreading off forever there, much like this photograph portrays. The mountains also say "California," although of course I could be wrong by half a world ... Perfect photo for a travel magazine!

Well two other people I think got it right before me, but my first thought was Lompoc, CA. I lived in that area for about 9 years and still have the memories of awesome smells of flower fields.

Yes, all of you who said Skagit Valley Tulip Festival near Mount Vernon were 100% correct.

Have you been to this festival Bernie, as it's practically in your back yard, right? And I see that it is close to home for many BetterPhoto members.

I will doing a one-day shoot there this year... hopefully the tulips will be in bloom just before Easter:
My upcoming tulip shoot

Thanks for playing, everyone. This was certainly a fun one for me :)

Oh yes, I've done the Tulip circuit several times. Great subject matter. And yes, I don't live very far from there. Roozengaarde Park is my wife's favorite place to go during the season.

Great Picture of the Tulips at Mt. Vernon, WA. The Tulip Festival is held there during the month of April every year.

My guess would be Near LaConner Washington. The colors are so wonderful when they are all in bloom. The reds are so rich and vibrant and is a joy to look at.

Thank you everyone for your additional comments.

By the way, we had a great (but wet) Tulip Tromp. The rain just added great texture to many of our photos... I don't have all of the photos in any one place but here are a few links to photos from the Tulip Tromp:
Spiral by Bob Cournoyer
Tulip by Joyce S. Bowley
Heavy Rain by Steve Libersky
The Chalice by John Richlin
Aswirl-2 by Heather Young

And there are a few in my photo gallery.

Thanks again!!!
