  Hi Scott,
I agree: Awesome shot! In fact, it's an excellent candidate for our "Where in the World?" quiz (in the next issue of BP's PhotoFlash newsletter)!
Kerry

Hi Everyone,
Have fun trying to figure out the location of this beautiful scene! Scott and I will be checking into this photo-discussion thread from time to time to see how things are going. Eventually, after the guesses are all in, we will report back here with the correct answer.

Meantime, have fun posting your guesses here.

Thanks!

Kerry Drager,

I'm pretty sure that's Bagan, in Myanmar.

It's either Nepal or Burma. One of the highly religious and sacred places there.
Remember seeing this type of places on TV.

  Hi Scotty,

My guess is Beijing. Are you telling us where this place is later? I'm curious now. :)

  Angkor Wat Temple, Cambodia.
Great picture by the way.

If not Angkor Wat, then some other temple in that area...

Here's ma picture of angkor wat from google images: http://www.sacred-destinations.com/cambodia/images/angkor-wat-sunrise-c-sacredsites-200h.jpg

I'd like to add on to my guess on Angkor Wat...it's either that or Pagan, Burma.

Well...the time has come to tell...and some of you were right.....I was lucky enough to go to Pagan, Burma, a few years ago and this was taken right at sunrise as I ran from my taxi into a field with my tripod as fast as I could.....before the sun got too high. Burma is one of the most special places on Earth and Pagan is the jewel of the country....3,000 temples in every direction, as far as you can see. It's like nothing else. Catch U later fellow shooters!!!!!!
