i also used a cokin ND4 gradient filter and a sunset filter

This is one of the best Pittsburgh skyline shots I've ever seen and I look at skyline photos all the time... big congrats, super photo

Wow! Thank you guys so very much. I'm just amazed at the response I've getting to this photo! In answer to the 'where was this taken' question...it was taken from the West End Overlook. There's a small park there with what is, in my opinion, the best vantage point for catching the city skyline. I hope to add more city skylines to my portfolio...if I can ever manage to get myself out of DA BURGH! LOL Thanks again!

Wow! I used to live in downtown Pittsburgh and I've never seen their skyline captured so beautifully. I couldn't believe this was a capture of Pittsburgh:) No offense...but the city is a bit gloomy. You've done a great job bringing life to 'da burgh'!Wonderful colors and reflections, Chris.

This really is a remarkable photo of Pittsburgh, the colors are amazing! My son just moved to Ohio to go to college and he wants an enlarged print of Pittsburgh for his apartment. I will be going into the city to take some shots for him as soon as I can. Your shots of Pittsburgh are Awesome!
