The Perfect Pair
Taken in the Norwegian Fjords this September. I passed these boats a few times throughout the week. Each time the weather was rainy and windy and so as a result they were simply not worth photographing. On the final day, everything came together and I got the shot I had been hoping for. A good reminder to me of the importance of returning to a location!

What a wonderful picture showing the stunning beauty of Norway! The only problem I can see with this photo is that I am not there to shoot it and get in one of the boats and look around!

Where in Norway is this? I have been to Norway myself (western shores of the Oslo Fjord) and am always glad to see other photographers who have been there. Great lighting and it definitely captures a bit of Norway. Good job!

The kind of scene most photographers only get to dream about.
Absolutely gourgeous!
The subject, the composition. The stormy sky in the background really adds to the depth as well as the brightly lit gunwale on the foreground boat. As close to perfect as it gets.

Incredible capture Adam! This image looks like something that we can only dream about stumbling upon. It's the kind of scene that for lack of ever really finding one like it, painters create one of their own with everything in it that would create the perfect scene and then here you've found for real. Not only is the scene beautiful, but you have done an excellent job with your composition, lighting, exposure, mood and just about everything else that makes a perfect landscape. Congratulations on the POTD and I agree with others above that this should be reentered into the contest. It's breathtaking!

What a special photograph, Adam. The colors are rich and deep...the boat look very cozy there, just hanging out.I have a "Boat & Scenery " photo that you might like that I took in Banff, Alberta. Canada. It's just titled "Canoe". I don't like the sky in my photo but I love the rest of the picture. I'd love your profesional feedback. I am just starting out. 5 day member!
