Thanks Gordon, Karen and Damian! I took this in August 2001, two cameras ago. The color balance, color saturation and sharpness were adjusted a little. I also had to clone out a shadow from my hand being used as a lens shade in the upper right hand corner. I grew up in Portland, OR, and am familiar with Cannon Beach from those days. It's a little busier than I remember, sigh....

I forgot to add that this image is "as is", except for cloning out the dark spot in the upper right hand filter, no filters except maybe a polarizer, and minor adjustments to color balance and saturation (the camera photos tend to come out a little too blue and undersaturated for my taste). When the light is right on the coast, it's fantastic!
