This one struck me right away. My favorite subject is children. While I have 5 sons, I have 4 granddaughters, the oldest being about 5, so I can appreciate your daughter's age (a little older). This is a very striking photo, shows the relationship between you, and is beautifully lit, as are the others in your portfolio. I also like your self portrait. I joke with my sons that my grandchildren are going to remember their grandfather as half man and half camera (meaning they always see me with a vertical camera covering half my face). This applies to all of us photogs. Bet everyone never thought of it that way. Michael
