Grabber: Pied Piper of Thorndale
Incredible story. I was on the beach yesterday waiting for things to happen. The two colonies of seagulls on the beach suddenly took off toward the road, west of the beach and started flying around and around over the apartment buildings. It turned out that this man was approaching the beach ... they were waiting for him ... apparently he had food to feed them. How the birds knew he was coming, it just baffles me. He fed them, then jogged away and the birds still kept on following him. Taken at 1/160s, f/6.3, Tamron 28-300mm, August 24, 2005, late afternoon, Thorndale Beach, Chicago.
