Night Light

BetterPhoto.com Photo Contest Finalist   Night Light
Night Light
This was taken in pitch-black dark in downtown San Antonio at an area with several water features near one or our main landmarks, The Tower of the Americas. I could barely see the water through my viewfinder, but I put my shutter speed on 30 seconds, with an aperture of F10, and it was as if my camera created the light.

Very nice shot. I've yet to learn that sort of manipulation, but I've got the rest of my life to learn I just hope it want take that long.

It is amazing how your camera will find light when there isn't any. Very nice job of finding the light for this fine capture.

  Sandy,
I know this was a while back but I thought I should explain this to you.
You see this was taken with a "smart" camera, thus it looks fantastic. Some photos are taken with a "dumb" camera, thus they look bad!...now you know!..........:):)
Great "discovery" here!!
Jim
