The Fog Serpent

This is about a three minute exposure
at f/8, ISO 400. The fog comes
over the hills of Sausalito and
the time exposure turns it into
a solid or a fluid, whose internal
lighting intrigues me.

Facinating, I stared at this for quite some time. Really beautiful, nice work Arthur!

Awesome Serpent, Arthur. It is, indeed, intriguing.
Altho, it looks a bit slanted. That or I'm enjoying my last day of vacation toooo much...:-)

You're right Bob. Looks like I was
enjoying my photo shoot too much.

thanks Susan. That's high praise,
to have someone dwell upon a photo for
more than half a minute.

Very nicely done, Art. The horizon could be leveled, however.

Thanks. I fixed the horizon and
did a little touch of noise reduction. the initial exposure
was actually too bright (which seldom
happens with night photography) and
I had to tame it in RAW conversion.
Now it's time to make a print.

Praise is always sweeter when coming
from excellent photographers. Some of
your work I know. Bob's magic egrets
and vanishing (appearing) swimmer's feet.
I will visit all your galleries, if
I haven't already. I really appreciate
the response to this photo.
